Nights aboard
A night aboard Marea is €3,400 with the captain and steward on board, and six guests sleep in three cabins. Two nights is the point where the coast opens past the Bay of Kotor: Budva is four hours from Tivat, which no day charter can take on, and the second morning starts wherever you dropped the anchor rather than back at the marina.
What the second day actually buys
Not more hours. A different starting point.
A day charter starts and finishes at Porto Montenegro, so half of it is the run out and the run back. Whatever you reach, you reach with one eye on the return.
The first night removes that. You anchor at Žanjic or Rose, the boat stays where the evening was good, and the next morning begins two hours further down the coast than any day charter can start from. That is the whole mechanism, and it is why the second day feels longer than the first even though it is the same length.
Two nights covers the bay properly and gets you out to the Blue Cave in the right window. Three reaches Budva and Sveti Stefan. Five does both ends without hurrying anywhere, and at that point the difference from a full week is one long lunch.

One to five nights are €3,400 a night. Seven nights are €21,000, which is €3,000 a night.
The cabins
Three cabins, six berths, rebuilt over the winter of 2025–26. New mattresses and upholstery, restitched curtains, a rebuilt galley, new coffee machine and speakers.
The crew sleeps in their own quarters, so nobody is stepping around anybody. Linen and towels are changed, water is aboard, and the coffee comes up to the deck at whatever hour the first person appears — usually seven, sometimes ten.

How many can sleep on board?
Six, in three cabins. Sixteen can be aboard during the day, so groups often bring friends out for one day and keep six for the nights.
Where do you anchor overnight?
It depends on the wind. Žanjic and Rose on the outer side are the quietest; the inner bay off Dobrota is sheltered when a south-easterly is running. The captain picks it on the day, and it is the decision that most affects how the night goes.
Is there air conditioning in the cabins?
Yes, and it runs at anchor. The cabins were rebuilt over the 2025–26 winter, including the mattresses and upholstery.
Can we be dropped somewhere and picked up later?
Yes. Guests are often dropped in Budva and taken back aboard the next day. It is planned in advance because it depends on where the boat is that date.
