The crew
Two people, both included in the price: the captain, who has run Marea since 2019 and knows this coast without charts, and the steward, who meets you at the pontoon, works the grill and keeps everything moving quietly. On a week aboard they stay with you the whole time and sleep in their own quarters.
The captain
The same one since the first season in 2019, running one charter a day rather than three. That is why he can tell you where to buy oysters in Kamenari and how to order them from the water, why the Blue Cave has to be caught between 11 and 12, and which cove to anchor in at sunset when the wind is north-west.
Qualified to Yacht Master Offshore and STCW, with tens of thousands of nautical miles across the Mediterranean behind him. The certificates matter for the paperwork; the local knowledge is what changes your day.

The steward
Meets you at the pontoon, lays out breakfast, runs the grill, pours the drinks. Quietly present rather than hovering — most guests know their name by the second stop.
Safety
Every passenger is insured automatically, and the policy is in the charter price. Life jackets aboard in adult and child sizes.
Licensing
Marea operates as a licensed commercial charter in Montenegro. Registration details are available on request.

What people usually ask
Is the captain included in the price?
Yes, and so is the steward. Every rate on this site is for the yacht with both of them aboard.
Does the crew speak English?
Yes. Russian too, which is why this site exists in three languages rather than one.
Can we take the boat without a captain?
No. Marea is a crewed charter only — the captain comes with her, and on this coast that is what you are paying for.
Where does the crew sleep on a week charter?
In their own quarters. The three guest cabins are yours.

Every passenger, automatically, with the policy included in the charter price. No forms to fill in on the pontoon.
