About us

One boat since 2019

We are not a catalogue, a broker or a tour operator with a timetable. We have one yacht, Marea, berthed at Porto Montenegro in Tivat, and one captain who has run her since her first season in 2019. More than 2,000 guests have been aboard in that time, and the reason a day here works is that the same person has been reading this coast every summer for seven years.

What one boat changes

A fleet has to fill every hull, so it sells the schedule. We run one charter a day on one boat, which means the day is planned around your group rather than around the turnaround between two other groups.

It also means we know the answer to specific questions. Where the water is still cold in August, which cove is empty on a Saturday, which restaurant will take a boat alongside at short notice — that is not information a catalogue holds, and it is the whole reason to book directly rather than through a listing.

The trade is honest: there is one boat, so if she is out on your date, she is out. We will say so rather than move you onto something else without telling you what changed.

What we are not

  • Not a catalogue

One yacht, not a search page. If Marea does not suit what you want, we will say so.

  • Not a group tour

Nobody else boards with you. The rates are for the whole boat, which is why they look higher than a seat on a shared trip.

  • Not bareboat

The captain comes with the yacht. On this coast, in these anchorages, that is the part worth paying for.

When to come

The season runs May to October. June and September are the two we would pick ourselves: the water is warm, the bay is not full, and in September the sun sits lower so the light turns gold earlier in the afternoon.

July and August are the busiest and the hottest, and they book out first — usually by March. If those are your only weeks, ask early and take the eastern route in the middle of the day, when the inner bay still has shade against the mountain.

What people usually ask

How long have you been running charters?

Since 2019, which makes 2026 the seventh season. The same captain has run Marea for all of them.

How many guests have been aboard?

More than 2,000 since 2019. That is guests carried, not reviews — we do not publish a rating until there is a verifiable public source for one.

Do you own the yacht?

Yes. Marea is our own boat, not a listing we resell. That is why the captain can change the route on the day without asking anyone.

Can we see the yacht before booking?

Yes. She lies at Porto Montenegro in Tivat through the season — say when you are in town and we will show you round. Most people decide on the deck rather than on a website.

What language do you work in?

English, Russian and German. The site exists in all three because our guests do.
